79 “free movers” are studying in the Central European Studies in Prague (CESP) program during the winter semester

In the 2026/2027 academic year, interest in the CESP program has risen again. Concerns regarding the security situation in Central Europe—which had caused a drop in applications from American students following the Russian aggression against Ukraine—have apparently begun to subside.

We are pleased that a total of 79 students are currently studying in the CESP program during the winter semester: 66 Americans, 6 French students, 3 Portuguese students, and one student each from Ethiopia, Luxembourg, Germany, and Great Britain.

How to apply:

1. Full list of documentation necessary for a complete application

• Application form for Spring Semester 2027
• the photography must be in JPEG format, its size being 3MB maximum
• official transcript from your university (or other institution of higher education)
• CV/resume maximum one page long
• application fee 100 EUR

2. When you have all this together scan it and email at cesp@vse.cz
3.   Application fee can be paid:

• by credit card on-line or by bank to bank money transfer (on-line payment form same as a bank contact to be found under section tuition)

4.   What happens next:

• after we receive both application fee and application documents, we will contact you by email whether you have been or not have been accepted to Central European Studies in Prague
• in case you were accepted we will send acceptance letter and other documents automatically
