Housing

Accommodation for CESP students is provided in the Thalerova (Jarov III. G) student dormitory about 20 minutes by tram from the university building. Due to the high imbalance between demand and supply is the number of places as well in double as in single rooms limited.

Thalerova (Jarov III.G ) dormitory

Jarov III. G is situated in the campus at Jarov in the town district Praha 3 about 100 metres from the Koněvova street at the corner of the Jeseniova and Biskupcova street. The look-out of the room’s window offers the view to the green vegetation of the campus and to the housing blocks at Jarov. There is a tram stop Strážní in the vicinity (tram #9).

The address of the dormitory is Kolej Jarov III. G, Jeseniova 1954/210, 130 00 Praha 3.

Living outside the dormitory

Accommodation in private apartments is in Prague rather expensive  and CESP students do not pursue this option often. For living outside the dormitory, you have to consider owner´s offer of short term or long term accommodation. It entirely depends on the owner which term he is able to offer you.

Note: Agents usually charge a fee of one month’s rent for a one-year lease.

Please note that we are not able to help you  with searching and arranging accommodation outside the dormitories..

Dining

For lunch and dinner you may take advantage of the student cafeterias located at the University or in the dormitory area. Hot meals usually include soup, main dish and drink. (Daily or weekly menus are available here.)
